Every few months, a viral Twitter thread pops up asking people to list their favorite TV shows that were unceremoniously cancelled. There’s no shortage of choices, but I don’t have to think about it. The answer comes instantaneously: my one, my only, my most dearly beloved “Selfie.”
Last week, I got on the phone for a long-overdue catch up with a friend. When she picked up, she asked, “How are you?” Silence. Then we both started cracking up because—what is there to say? What else can you do when your brains are melting out of your ears?
Launching this site has been a slow-going process. All the other pages were ready to go, but they sat unpublished as I strained under the pressure to write The Perfect First Post.
